For Google Assistant and Amazon Alexa functionality, pair your device in SIMPLEconnect® app first.

Google Assistant process: To use your fan with Google Assistant, first, add your device(s) in the SIMPLEconnect® app, then activate Google Assistant.

Amazon Alexa process: To use your fan with Alexa, first, add your device(s) in the SIMPLEconnect® app. Once your fan(s) are added to your SIMPLEconnect® account, activate the Amazon Alexa skill "Hunter – SIMPLEconnect® Smart Ceiling Fan" and enter your SIMPLEconnect® credentials to link your fan to Alexa control.

Ratings and reviews

Fine when it works. App frequently doesn't connect to fans to provide control or shows incorrect status. For example right now, showing my fan as "on" per my request on the app but nothing happened yet again on the device. Also has a long delay as others have mentioned. I deeply regret purchasing four "smart" fans from Hunter. Can't wait for them to have an issue so I can replace them with something else.

Awful. Extremely unreliable and they aren't fixing it. Version 3.8.396, months old, is still screwy. I turn fan light off. after a few seconds to maybe 10 seconds it goes off. Another 10 s and it's back on all by itself. Setting does not stay in sync with the actual state of the light. VERY laggy response. I turn light off going to bed then wifey is calling to tell me it's back on! Last Hunter product I will ever buy.

I have had the fan for 5 years, it worked fine at the beginning, the last few months it doesn't work with the phone or Google. We have ended up just using the switch, pretty disappointed that the updates are causing more issues. I can connect to the fan and everything works for about an hour then it's disconnected and you need to reconnect. What's the point of reconnecting when you need use the fan or light.
