About this app

Neabot is the application used to configure and control the Neabot robot vacuum.
With Neabot you can achieve the following functions.
- Scheduled cleaning: schedule a cleaning task and Neabot automatically cleans, empties its dustbin and charges after it finishes cleaning.
- Zone cleaning: after creating a map on the app, you can choose which rooms to be cleaned and adjust the suction power and water volume.
- Map management: easily set up rooms and no-go zones.
- Spot cleaning: Neabot cleans at the designated locations on the map.
- Consumables log: easy to keep track of consumables usage.
- Firmware upgrade: Neabot can have new features with a firmware upgrade.
- Dust collection management: customize the dust collection frequency to suit your home.
- Voice: More choices for languages and voices are constantly being updated.

Ratings and reviews

Worked well for the first couple of months. Ocassionaly would disconnect from bluetooth and had to uninstall and then reinstall to get it to work. Then, in January this year, there was a firmware update to the robot. Since then have been completely unable to connect to the vacuum. On top of this, support (ha!) won't respond. Probably going to replace the whole thing with a better product.

Bit of a learning curve to this thing. App is kinda foggy on direction. It's currently charging for first time, so maybe in the morning I can map the house and see how it does. It took over 3 hrs to get it to charge. Directions need a little work. There's a sequence that must be performed apparently before it'll accept its new home. I have no idea what that sequence is. I think I finally just got lucky. Frustration almost won out over patience... I'll rethink my rating in a few days and see...

I am bewildered by the negative reviews. This app is awesome! I think people must be missing the part in the instructions where it says the app doesn't support 5 ghz wifi networks. You have to have a 2.4 ghz network set up, which any wifi router can do easily. This app easily allows control of the vacuum, mapping your home, dividing the map up into rooms and zones. The scheduling works perfectly as well. Notifications from the vacuum come through to the phone. It does everything it needs to do.
