Plant Diary makes it quick to check which plants are in need of care based on the recommended number of days you have set for each plant and each action.

Ratings and reviews

Very nice! But, "Auto backup up to a total size of 25 MB" and it doesn't say how much storage is currently consumed. The total size will get to 25 MB fast if it backs up full-size image files. Also, to reduce tedious data entry for new plants, it would be awesome if it could look up the plant name and auto populate some default care instructions.

I put everything in, then the next day(today) it said it had to "update" my plants. Yup. Sure updated them. It deleted everything I had put in, so I'm deleting the app. Useless.

Works well enough for my purposes in a small 4 shelf home garden seeding setup. There are bugs with location names, but if you are careful, you should be all right. Color issues on fonts also. I'm using it to keep track of 12, 12 seedling trays, plus other larger trays to grow out 200 tomato plants for sale. So far, it's keeping me organized.
