Ratings and reviews

It's an app that shows a lot of promise, though there are some things missing from the original Twitter app that have me switch between the two pretty often. I follow accounts in many languages, and the translate tweet button (although not perfect) lets me understand Spanish, French, German, etc., tweets right there in the app. Instead for Albatross, I have to jump to Google Translate's website to then have to go back to Albatross, and do it again and again for other tweets. I'd rate 3-4 stars.

I like how its minimal. I dont like that it has lots of bugs. Uploading photos doesn't work, viewing tweet replies takes ages to load / gets stuck, and when it does load, it sometimes shows the parent tweet instead of the reply, which is very frustrating. I dont understand how these very basic features arent working.

After my old app lost support, I needed a new one. Albatross has been a pleasant experience. But the most standout feature is the dev. He is incredibly responsive to feedback and questions. Moreso than I've ever seen in any other app or product. As the final polish is added, I can see this going from a "great" app to "why am I limited to only 5 stars?" I can definitely recommend giving this one a try. No ads. Chronological timeline. No extra "your friends like/follow this". Pro is a measly $2!
