With sonnen App, you are empowered to manage your own clean energy anytime from anywhere. The app allows you to:
- Get an overview of the performance of your sonnenHome energy system including your battery, PV system and EV charger (where applicable)
- Access details on your sonnen energy contracts: sonnenFlat and sonnenConnect
- See detailed insights on your household’s live energy flow
- Get real-time and historical system data on your household’s energy consumption and generation
- Choose a basic or professional mode on how you would like your energy data to be displayed
- Set your battery backup buffer so your household is prepared for an energy outage

Ratings and reviews

Date picker / date navigation in the historical view is completely broken, and has been for months... I can't ever get to "yesterday" because it jumps me back a few days, and choosing a date takes me to a random date nearby it but not the date I choose. I honestly wonder if it's because of some time zone issue being in the US where the developers are in Germany? I don't know, but it's annoying and continues to be that way evern after submitting multiple issues in the app.

Design seems to be more important then correct data. While design can be discussed and each has his/her own opinion, an app is bad if the data is incorrect, wrong or missing. This is clearly the case and can be proven by multiple screenshot (send to developer). Opening tickets is kind-of useless, they are either closed without notice or while they deem tickets to be duplicate, but the topics are not solved.

i like the insights it gives in our energy consumption. it triggers wanting to know what what draws energy and whether we really want/need that. there is quite a lag in: - loading the graphs - moving the 'graph-cursor' also, when moving the 'graph-cursur' beyond an 'edge' (start/end-of-day/week/month/year or now) it falls back to a previous (valid) value, while you expect the cursor to remain at that edge.
