!!! Warning !!! Bikes with SC-E8000 display are not supported!!! Shimano did not endow this display with the ability to output telemetry via Bluetooth.

STRide App is designed to record your ride session on Shimano STеPS E-bikes (EP801, EP600, EP8, E8000, E7000, E6100, E5000 motors are supported). The App supports external HRM sensors via Bluetooth and ANT+. Displays bike's Speed, Cadence, Assist mode and Assist Level, Battery state, Range, Di2 data (gears), Distance, GPS data, HRM, Acceleration, Altitude (via Barometer sensor).

SRAM AXS shifters are supported via ANT+

The STRide App has the ability to view and analyze recorded sessions.

Recorded sessions can be exported to GPX, TCX, FIT, CSV formats for import into STRAVA and other apps. STRide has integration with STRAVA service.

This App shows the real Speed/Distance of the bike according to correction factors

Wonderful for the Orbea Rise! The Orbea Rise does not have a display and with this app you don’t need one! Everything works and a great feature that I did not even know it had, is the audio alerts. It alerts you to the amount of Km remaining, battery life remaining and amount of time that you have been riding. Since the Rise does not have a display, this solves everything with your mobile. Got the Bose Bluetooth sunglasses and I can hear the alerts while the phone is in my pocket. This app does it all. Please keep deveoping this app, it does everyting the manufacturer forgot to do with their app. Thank you!

Edit: *review prior to direct contact with developer. Dev. responded immediately to my query and provided full explanation for app permission requirement.*- Unfair to give no stars or 5 as not used, I loaded but refunded as requires constant location permission in order to connect to bike (not seem to work with "while in use" permission but happy to be corrected). Unhappy with any app that wishes to record my location 24/7 unless there is a very good reason for this permission.

Excellent app does everything I needed it to do and very easy to connect. My only thing is the battery %could be in a bigger font. Excellent communication from ST as well. Thanks guys keep up the good work.
