I've wanted to like the app version of this web place. unfortunately the app version is almost unusable. I have used this app for years. tracking friend in the Chicago to Mackinac race. Every year the app degrades. 2025 app has not refreshed since I opened the race 10 minutes after he started racing. what good is an app that needs to be closed and opened in order to refresh. When I reopen the app bc it froze, I have to find his boat again. For all your cookies, remember who I'm tracking

Works for me. Quickhands free install on my budget Android handset. I'm following friends of a friend so it's just the one race at the moment - the Talisker 21. - This uncomplicated App offers just a few features but they all seem to work just fine. Track updates regularly - on this race seems to be about every four hours. For a free gift to spectators it seems a good deal Sorry others have had issues. I think its fine.

works for me! Not sure why it has 2.5 stars (didn't read all the negatives). It was the only app that I could find to track the Chicago Mackinac race - works very well, updates regularly, shows position of all the boats - and you can click on them to find good stats (skipper, boat, DTF, rank in class etc). Can also search for the boat you are trying to follow. I recommend (for Chicago Mack anyway)
