Convenient reading and managing laws
Lawdroid allows you to conveniently read and manage all German federal laws, Bavarian state law, European primary law and European secondary law.
Federal law Germany
Lawdroid offers over 6,000 federal laws and regulations of the Federal Republic of Germany.
These include the Civil Code (BGB), the Criminal Code (StGB), the Road Traffic Act (StVO), ZPO, StPO, EStG, HGB, ...
Bavaria state law
Lawdroid offers access to around 800 state laws and regulations in the area of Bavarian state law, including POG, PAG, DSG, VwVfG, JG, ...
European primary law
The important European treaties (TFEU, EUV, GRCh and EAGVtr) can also be accessed within the app.
European secondary law
Lawdroid is one of the few apps that offers access to over 15,000 European Union guidelines and regulations.
Including Brussels I-IIa, Dublin II, Dublin III, GDPR, FFH-RL, Rome I-IV, Bird Protection Directive, ...
The desired texts must be downloaded within the app.
Standard and legal links
You can quickly navigate between standards and laws using standard and legal links within the texts (federal law in Germany and state law in Bavaria). Links are available from Android 8.
Tab system
With the help of tabs you can open several laws side by side at the same time and quickly switch between them.
Full text search
With the help of the full-text search within downloaded laws, you can find the laws/norms you need quickly and easily. Of course, this function is available offline.
Favorites
Mark your favorite laws/norms as favorites to get quick access to them.
Collections
Organize your laws/norms into your own collections for quick access to them.
Predefined categories
The most important laws are grouped into categories so that they can be found quickly.
Shortcuts on the home screen
Link, among other things, laws/norms directly on the home screen of your device. So you can access them directly. Home screen shortcuts are available starting with Android 8.
Available offline
Laws once downloaded are available offline on your device. This means you can access the texts on the go.
Automatic updates
Keep your laws/norms up to date with the optional, automatic update function.
Night mode
Night mode or dark mode allows you to customize the UI to suit your preferences. Starting with Android 10, the app also supports automatic switching between light and dark mode.
Customizable
Customize the app to your preferences. Available options include font appearance.
Backups
Prevent data loss. With the built-in backup function you can, among other things, save your downloaded texts, your favorites and collections either on your device or in the cloud (e.g. Google Drive).
Optimized for smartphones and tablets
Use Lawdroid on your smartphone or tablet. The app offers an adapted layout on some views for tablets.
