Distance and area measurement. For land surveying in agriculture, construction, real estate and property management, etc.

Turn this application on and walk or drive around a region to measure its area. The path's length is measured as well.

To start a measurement; wait until the GPS receiver is ready and then press start. If the positioning is a little shaky in the beginning, press restart as soon as it has stabilized.

Ratings and reviews

Unreliable. I don't mean to put down the hard work of the creator(s), but this app does not give consistent measurements on distance. On two different days, it gave a roughly 45 meter difference on the same route. It also seems incapable of following curved paths, instead shortening them to straight lines, resulting in a more then 400 meter difference on another longer route. It has potential, but in its current state is essentially useless.

Nice but with limitations. Cannot run in the background. After start I put the phone into a pocket and walked my exercise. After finish I looked at the distance, but it was null. Apparently one needs to keep the phone in the hand with desktop active to have the distance measured.

Great app. I have used it to measure my distance when riding, walking around farms for area and it has been accurate. You can save your map👍👍👍
