About this app

eTrips/mobile 2 is the second generation of the SAFIS eTrips/mobile application.

eTrips/mobile 2 supports catch and effort tracking and electronic trip reporting for For-Hire and Commercial fishermen in the member states of the ACCSP.

Ratings and reviews

The app was okay at first but after the update on Nov 14, 2024 it has become very difficult to use. The speed has dropped to a crawl and the fields are cleared for every trip so you constantly have to reenter information that is the same for every trip you run. If you want to collect data and have captains use the app you need to streamline it and make in functional.

No captains are speaking up but they think this is the most slow and boring app ever not straight forward or user friendly needs to be made simple and it's like a robot from 1985 found its way on to an app store always errors with the location simplify the location also Atlantic captains are not giving you the real location anyway.

This app literally gets worse every week. When the app isn't constantly force closing they have made it an absolute nightmare to enter a report. No wonder it's affiliated with NOAA
