Pluma is a free RSS & News reader for Android with some feature available as paid upgrade. It supports local feeds as well as Inoreader. Goal of this app is to provide the best reading experience on Android.

Pluma RSS reader also allows you to subscribe to a Google News keyword which essentially enables you to get notified almost instantly whenever a news article about a keyword in which you are inserted is published anywhere on the internet.

Pluma RSS & News reader allows you to add news articles to a read later list for easier access when you are free to catch up with the latest news.

You can also configure any individual subscription so that all new news articles are automatically added to the read later list.

Ratings and reviews

Honestly I love this app, but I continuely run into an error when syncing. It's "Internal Server Error." I have no idea what that is, how to fix it or prevent it. I'd love to. It stops me from syncing my feeds. I also pay for this app. Updated: I am no longer getting the error, but after about a week... I realized none of my feeds are syncing either. 😮‍💨

App icon is not compatible with Themed Icon. It could benefit from a new, more elegant icon. Other than that, the app is a great RSS reader.

Pluma is great when you are using Inoreader: if you have issues with disappearing articles or feeds not updating, try creating an Inoreader account. That one works well with Pluma. Otherwise, local and Pluma accounts still do not work well as touted. This is a good app to keep tabs of your important news sources. It is fully accessible with screen-readers. It has excellent search feature during subscription and can detect categories. You can customize how articles are displayed. This is great!
