There are 3 types of alerts:
- Voice alert - Voice alert in English!
- Audible warning
- Alert Notification

You control the alert volume on your phone.
- Voice alert - multimedia phone volume
- Sound alert - Ringtone volume
- Notification warning - phone volume for notifications

If the phone volume is muted, the app will alert you. Either turn up the volume or turn off the alarm.

IMPORTANT!!! For phones with Android 8.0 and later
Some phones need to be customized (Xiaomi, Huawei, Oppo, Poco, Oneplus, Vivo..).
The most important one is "Lock app in recently used apps" and turn off battery optimization for Battery app.
1. Disable battery optimization for Battery Alarm app.
2. Lock app in recently used apps.
3. allow auto start option

*** UPDATED WITH A FIX FOR SAMSUNG PHONES RUNNING ANDROID 14. The settings, as shown in the link listed here, are not available on the Samsung 24 ultra running Android 14. I had to set it to run in the "foreground". To do this, long press the app icon, go into App Info --> "Permissions" --> click the 3 dots at the top --> "All permissions" --> then, scroll down, and click on "run foreground service", to enable it. This seems to have worked for my phone. Hopefully, it helps others.***

Great app on paper. Being a tiny app size is a bonus. However the dealbreaker for me is that there's no way to stop the alarms after a little while. So this app isn't ideal for quiet situations (even in a pandemic you sleep with your own family). For example, don't wanna go and do chores then find out everyone's awake because the phone won't shut up bc low battery. The app being functional and bare-bones is understandable, but a label explaining the bottom buttons would be very helpful as well.

UPDATED REVIEW: Just updated this app. The "Show/Hide Icon" setting is gone in the free version. ORIGINAL REVIEW: Lightweight. Loving this. One page to configure. Question please. I have the sound set on 10s (default). Why am I getting repeating alarm? Shouldn't it repeat for 10s and then stop? EDIT: I now understand. It repeats every 10s. I now have it set on 30s. Thanks so much for a very useful, fun-looking app.
