The app has frequent glitches and tech issues and the customer service when contacting PayStay is poor. Unfortunately, at this stage a lot of councils are using the app exclusively for parking, so the customer is out of luck for choice. The app has recently been updated so hopefully that fixes the tech issue but the customer service is still going to be an issue.

Nobody likes to pay for parking, but do think the Devs have done a brilliant job with this recent release. Ux is nice and snappy, geo search is better, and for the use case of just hopping out and parking, it really is slick. Seems a lot snappier compared to the previous version (no lag showing current parking session). Only downside is having to learn the new app, but overall I think it's a very welcome improvement. Well done!

Since updating I have to type the whole parking number in. Prior to the update "31" was enough for it to show me past parking spots that matched and I could instantly pick the only carpark I use this app for. 1 star for making things slower/more clunky
