Ratings and reviews

map dosen't work when need the most....during storms! not getting any notifications on weather watches and warning. open the radar or play the forecast videos and they player stops with the message "data can't be loaded"... I'm seriously contemplating on uninstalling and giving the other new channel apps a go...if I could I would give it a -5 ⭐ rating...awful app...

Can't believe how many ads are posted making it so cluttered! They're a news station, how much money do they need to make? I can't imagine why it has high reviews. I can't see any notifications for severe weather either (in tornado Alley, no less - Moore, OK) because it tells me to read the privacy policy or to choose "maybe later" And neither leads me to set it to send me notifications. Again, I can hardly find relevant info for all the ads everywhere on the app. GREEDY!

Amazing app compared to what it was a few years ago. I loved the way it gets set up for user preferences - like a text message between two friends. (I opted in for everything.) Finding the app setting to allow the app to access your current location all the time (important for weather alerts) might be an issue for some. It seems like every brand (not even talking about Android versus Apple iOS) is different. If a Google search doesn't help, try going to the seller (Verizon, T-Mobile, etc).
