About this app

Rsync is an android client for the famous Rsync protocol available on all linux laptops and servers. The app supports syncing with all kind of servers on rsync protocol and ssh as well. The app also provides a convenient File Chooser to select sync source and destination on local filesystem and remote file system as well. You can add as many number of servers and as many number of jobs as you want. You can see sync logs for any of the jobs that wsa run on the phone.

Review updated to 5 stars! Don't know how I missed the file browser the first time around, oops! In case you miss it too, click on the folder icon to open the file browser. Works very well! Would have given 5 stars if local absolute path could be determined from a file manager or browser rather than defined manually. Took me an extra 5 minutes to figure out the absolute path to my local music folder (/sdcard/Music)

Great app for running backups. Slim and efficient. I use it to backup my fotos, etc. to my PC. Works like a charm. #Developers: If you add scheduled tasks (cron comes to mind) I'll give it six stars. But please don't break this app, like so many others do, time and time again.

Works fine, the missing syar is because of: 1. Xfer stops when app loose focus (Android 12?) 2. Cannot browse local drive to some parts, like th SD card. 3. SSH auth is user/passwd only, no support for keys. I got around 1&2, downloading an app to prevent phone sleeping. And I found the absolute path to the SD in another app, and copied this to the text field. Thank you for this otherwise excellent and free app!
