The t:simulator™ App is an easy way to explore the simple touchscreen interface of the t:slim X2™ from Tandem Diabetes Care. Whether you’re a person living with diabetes, a relative or caregiver, or a healthcare provider, we make it simple to explore the t:slim X2™ Pump’s features on your mobile device.

The t:simulator™ App allows you to simulate the following tasks, using the same steps as you would use on the t:slim X2™ touchscreen interface:
• Create and name up to six different Personal Profiles with customized basal rates, carb ratios, correction factors, and target glucose levels
• Program a meal bolus, using either units of insulin or grams of carbohydrate
• Program a correction bolus by entering a glucose value
• Program an extended bolus
• Set a temporary basal rate
• Set reminder alarms for Low BG, High BG, After Bolus BG and Missed Meal Boluses
• View simulated insulin delivery history
• Start and stop simulated insulin delivery
• Set the time and date
• Deliver a Quick Bolus using either units of insulin or grams of carbohydrate

I was using the simulator for the control iq option for about a month before my pump arrived 16 months ago, and they have gotten everything down to the tee. Have a go if you are thinking about getting the tandem t slim x2. I can't recommend it anymore. I taught myself how to use my pump using this app before I killed myself in real life.

Love it!!!I have had this pump since 2019 and have not one bad thing to say about it. It has helped me get my a1c from 12 to 6.8 in less then a year. Like all technology it does take a day or two to figure it all out but it's pretty easy to use and the website has video to show you if you get confused. I highly recommend this pump. Ps I medtronic in the past and this is still the best. Type 1 since 91'

Pros: interactive training, informative, zoom feature, and each slide is considerate of your time and remembers where you left off. Cons: needs tilt screen, and if you Zoom in it Zooms out on the next slide.
