About this app

The church year is an app that helps you keep track of the Swedish Church Sundays and public holidays during the year. The church year is always opened to the public holiday that is current right now. The app also has a calendar where you can check out all of the church year days. Kyrkoårsappen displays information about the holidays: theme, Today's prayers, relevant biblical texts, the liturgical color it is and how to decorate the church with candles and flowers. For each holiday is also a hymn from the hymnbook that suits the theme of the day.

The church year can serve as a cheap and easy replacement of the journal and church year religious service. It is suitable for both employees of the church as elected officials, ushers and ordinary worshipers.

With the church year, you no longer look up Sunday's texts at the back of the hymnal. Now you have everything just two clicks away!

We are doing church year called Anton Malmquist and Gabriel Fjellander and we are students and programmers bred in Växjö diocese who now lives in Gothenburg.
