Brand new Broil King Pellet 400 and the app won't connect to Wifi or let me skip that option. Contacted support and was told to try an iPhone. Was also given an excuse that "some phones and tablets are not good at transferring large data packages. We’ve noticed issues with almost all companies other than iPhones." If you aren't going to support the app, why have one at all?

Absolute garbage pellet smoker and app. Brought home brand new. Followed instructions closely. App will not connect. Decided to leave that for later and got the grill running. 3 hours later I try the app while it cooks, and boom, pellet grill quit, lost heat rapidly, is just a fan blowing, and is beeping repeatedly. Reset, still pooched. Nothing in instructions, website, faq, or message boards about a steady beeping. Will only blow fan, will not advance pellets. Absolute trash device.
