Battery temperature alert is an app designed to alert you if the battery temperature is too high.

Prevent your phone battery from overheating, you will receive an alert notification if its temperature exceeds a limit.

⚠️ Battery temperature

The temperature of your phone is associated with the temperature of the battery.

If the battery or phone temperature is between 29℃ and 40℃, there is not much to worry about.

If the battery temperature is above normal then the body of the phone got hot and your next step should be to bring it back to normal:

💡 Lowering the screen brightness, disconnecting wifi, mobile data, bluetooth, location, I avoided using the device for a long time.

Ratings and reviews

It's fair, and for some users this will be sufficient. But it has room for improvement. #1. Needs an ad free paid version, the ads are intrusive. #2. I have the display set in F°, the temp value setting is still showing C°. Why? It should it match the display setting? #3. The notification is a temp icon, prefer seeing the temp reading.

The only issue is that when the phone is restarted, the app does not switch on automatically, and you have to manually switch on in order to activate the alert. Otherwise, this is the most simple and best alerting app. Other apps fail to alert if you do not keep them open in your notification panel. This app works fine in the back end.

For some reason, temperature is not shown in the status bar and notification option in Apps is greyed out. Android 14.
