Ratings and reviews

Constantly resource starved, in and out of match. Cannot power things up enough to deal enough damage and very unforgiving. If you place the wrong kind of unit early in the match, you WILL NOT progress. And then you will be punished with a video. You can supposedly take down aspects of the environment to get more resources, but they give scraps and block a large chunk of the map to where you have to fight through them just to place turrets to hope to fight off what is currentlyhitting your base.

Challenging but balanced and fair. Don't have to pay to win but you may have to play same level twice to upgrade and improve enough to win. More enjoyable if you pay to have ads removed but still a great game. Update: Since April 1, the ability to save intermediate results before next wave has failed with a spinning "preparing video" message that never clears. This means either pay for it to save or try to clear all remaining waves without ability to go back to best last wave. Unacceptable.

Recent update changed controls it is a little confusing. Turrets' control stayed the same, but perks changed. It gets confusing during pressure moments. I.e. Add more steps to place mines or black hole, adding more chances to create mistakes when precision timing is required. Was more fond of the nostalgic sounds. Turrets' graphics changed to some futuristic looking weird ones. They don't look like turrets anymore. I guess it is more getting used to at this point.
