I agree with most reviews about the app being completely sub-par. Horrible interface. Bluetooth device name starting w/ "HW_" is ridicz. Those of u struggling with speed throttling after connecting to the app, check cruise control settings and either turn it off or set it to max speed. Keep checking the cruise settings time to time to make sure it's still allowing max speed. Lastly, watch out for the app being offered as a default option for opening AUDIO FILES! That prompt was pure CREEPY!

Barely functional on android, only connecting, details, and advanced acceleration settings seem to work. Everything else is either totally unresponsive or resets when you leave the page and come back. Especially lame is the inability to change maximum speed, thank goodness I have an iPhone to help with that. Oh yeah, firmware update doesn't detect the newest version that the iOS app sees! What the heck is up with that.

App is broken. If you switch to imperial, it will actually set the value as the metric equivalent. For example on the S2R, the max speed is 19mph. If you try to change the speed value it's actually setting it to 19kph, which is 12mph. You must set the scooter back to metric and maximize the slider to get your speed to set, and then set back to imperial without moving any of the speed sliders. I reported this to their service team so hopefully it will get fixed.
