Ares Alpha brings real-time position of your teammates, a hierarchical chain of command, mission updates from the game organizer, as well as transmission of information to the team leaders on the battlefield.

You can use Ares Alpha from simple scenarios to track your airsoft squad, to complex events to design custom maps and manage all the players on the field.

Recommendations:
• We recommend the use of an external power bank four your phone. Depending of your phone model (especially Android), there's a chance Ares Alpha will automatically be closed after a longer standby time. Using a power bank, you will avoid this type of situation, ensuring yourself basically unlimited use of Ares during the game.
• Android phones are usually set to suppress background applications. We recommend you to manually modify the phone settings to a avoid the automatic app shutdown during the game. (use dontkillmyapp.com for detailed recommendations)
• To avoid accidents during the game we recommend the use of a protective cover for your phone.
• We recommend the use of a Bluetooth smart band for receiving app notifications. The app was successfully tested on a Xiaomi Mi Smart Band 3, but any other type that allows app notifications should work.

Ares Alpha it's heavy optimized to work on areas with poor levels of phone signal. But, in the rare cases where you don't have any mobile data access, Ares Alpha won't work.

Ratings and reviews

My use case is team navigation with a map and labeled locations. Would be great if maps could be edited in the app but creating a map and pairing it to an event in a web browser is functional. A setting allowing the map to rotate and align with user's face direction would make navigation easier. Support for offline maps and position sharing via WiFi p2p would be appreciated. Bug : I have to open the app, minimize it, then maximize it for the UI to appear. Annoying but not a deal breaker.

Love the app. Would love a watch app for it tho. Just one that shows the map of the game and that you can use to change your status.

The app os great, it has everything I could ever need, but the credits are way too expensive, i wanted to have the possibility to use UAVs through in-game currency (like using CoD's UAV with scorestreaks) but just 1 UAV costs 200credits (~24€). Keep up the good work but try to make PERKS more affordable :)
