Drive Weather takes the guesswork out of figuring out when and where the bad weather is! It shows the forecast only on your route based on departure time. The Drive Weather app presents weather, wind speed and direction, temperatures, and radar.

Drive Weather illustrates the National Weather Service's weather forecast showing drivers the weather along their route at the time they reach each point. It allows comparison of different routes, creating stops, interactively changing departure time, and other features that help plan trips around the weather.

Great app, good concepts. Still needs some improvements Update: the new version adds many new features and is a huge improvement. For a multi-day trip, it is now possible to see the estimated departure and arrival times into adjust the stops. The program now seems to accurately account for time along the trip and its associated weather

I would have given zero stars if I could. The concept is good, but there has to be a map with roads displayed, not just a blue dot showing my location without a map reference. It is just a blank page with a dot. I put in the destination and I get a line starting with the blue dot. No roads or towns, just white. And a line. No good.

Really enjoy this product. I've been using the free version for about a year. Many times, I have considered paying for the full version, but I can't justify the $15 annual subscription. I take a long trips and this gives me a good idea of what I'm driving into along. Many times, I've stopped in areas just before a snow storm or bad thunderstorm is about to hit and waited it out or found other routes where I'm not on a major road driving in bad weather conditions.
