Amrit Kirtan is a collection of shabads (verses) which are traditionally sung by Raggis in the Sikh congregations from:
- Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji - ਸੰਪੂਰਨ ਗੁਰੂ ਗ੍ਰੰਥ ਸਾਹਿਬ
- Sri Dasam Granth Ji - ਸੰਪੂਰਨ ਸ੍ਰੀ ਦਸਮ ਗ੍ਰੰਥ ਸਾਹਿਬ
- Bhai Gurdas ji’s Kabit - ਕਬਿਤ ਭਾਈ ਗੁਰਦਾਸ ਜੀ
- Vaaran by Bhai Gurdas Ji - ਵਾਰਾਂ ਭਾਈ ਗੁਰਦਾਸ ਜੀ
- Banni Bhai Nand Lal Ji - ਬਾਣੀ ਭਾਈ ਨੰਦ ਲਾਲ ਜੀ ਦੀ
- Rehatnamme - ਰਹਿਤਨਾਮੇ

Amrit Kirtan Pothi is used by Raagis to perform Kirtan and can be used by any Sikh devotee/ enthusiast to learn & understand Gurbani and its elaboration in the compositions of Bhai Gurdas and Bhai Nand Lal ji.

The application allows you to search any shabad by just entering initials of the shabad with space and allows inputs using English translation and transliteration. It allows you to search by Amrit Kirtan page number, by shabad or simply browse 113 chapters and pages from 65 - 1017 pages. This digital version also include complete Sri Guru Granth Sahib Sahib, Sri Dasam Granth Sahib, Bhai Gurdas Ji, Bhai Nand Lal ji bani.

App also allows you to bookmark your favorite shabads by tapping the star icon or WhatsApp or Share on Facebook or Copy Paste whole Shabad pr single Tuk(line) or Multiple Tuks or email as PDF to anyone you want.

Guru Arjun Dev Ji emphasized the importance of Kirtan in one's life in the following words:

This is the first version for Android. Please use the feedback form to send your feedback/experience so that we can make it better.

Frequent updates are provided for Shabad database and other features. No need to reinstall the app again. Just got to Settings and update Shabad Database. Sri Asa di Vaar is now separately available. All Shabads from Sri Guru Granth Sahib Sahib, Sri Dasam Granth Sahib, Bhai Gurdas Ji, Bhai Nand Lal ji now included. Many more features are in development. Ratings and reviews

Ang(page 460) many mistakes. Kindly fix it. And we have noticed many other users complaining about line interchange and errors. Seriously it defeats the purpose but just seeing your efforts to fix it is comforting sangat. Before any protest is raised kindly recheck your source and do fixes. Thanks

I have been using this app for years and trust me no problem has occurred, amazing app!!!! But I would suggest to add English translation to Dasam Bani and Bhai Gurdas ji vaaran. Sometimes I do notice some mistakes so plz fix those.

Update: Still the Symbol not updated as on 24 feb 22. Please see your Flash Screen and then Menu Screen, You will know the Difference. Wrong Ik on kar symbol used in Flash Screen. Update: ੴ is Correct one. And my source is Almighty ਧੰਨ ਗੁਰੂ ਗ੍ਰੰਥ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਜੀ । Please provide your source from where you got it.??
