About this app
The Inventory app combines mobile devices such as smartphones and tablet PCs with mobile hand scanners to create a handy and powerful tool. The Inventory app is a recording and comparison tool that is closely networked with the main iTWO fm system. The connection is made via a (secure) web service with the iTWO fm database.
In this, users create inventory processes with the help of defined workflows for inventory and inventory, which are transferred as a template to the mobile device. The workflow is then largely automated. It is only necessary that the mobile device is connected to the hand-held scanner.
Once the app inventory has started, the app adopts the stored template and guides the user through the working day. The processes are mainly controlled by a scanner, the system automatically recognizes rooms based on the barcode and can also differentiate between inventory and systems. So smartphone and tablet can usually stay in the pocket and only the scanner for inventory or inventory has to be operated.
Displays on the device guide the user through the individual steps of each data acquisition - with the help of predefined templates, new objects can be re-recorded and evaluated with minimal data entry. This simplifies the recording, saves time and creates more security for consistent data due to the fact that the process is always the same. And if a hand scanner is not available on site, the integrated camera of the smartphone or tablet PC can also be used. Then the device cannot stay in the pocket. The Inventory app can also be used without a barcode scanner. The app can also be used for inspections for simple data maintenance.
