About this app

DiabApp is the new Diabetes Action application for Valais (Switzerland). Created by health professionals, expert patients and caregivers, its objective is to strengthen the quality of the follow-up of the diabetic patient.

The application is first and foremost designed for the patient. During a consultation, a lot of important information is discussed. Often, it is difficult to remember all the points discussed.

DiabApp allows the central information transmitted to be collected concisely and efficiently. The patient then has them available on his phone, and can reread them, discuss them with his relatives, and above all share them with his healthcare professionals.


DiabApp is supported by Promotion Santé Suisse as well as several Valais umbrella associations of health professionals.


The application is intended to be the tool to strengthen the continuum of care. Thanks to better visibility of the patient's overall state of health and of his network of professionals, interprofessionality and patient support are facilitated.
