It should be not significant. I experienced about 6 per cent extra consumption on the test device. However it can be much higher by often using the Rise to Wake feature. Thus, keep your phone face down if you want to save energy.

I'm adding this comment to my glowing review: (since upgrading to Android 10, this app disables the ability to unlock my phone with the fingerprint sensor. Hopefully, a fix is coming.)So far, I'm enjoying this app. I've tried many apps that turn off the screen, but then you can't unlock the phone with a fingerprint. This app is what I've been looking for. Also, this replaced another app that kept the screen on while I was reading.

Has nice features such as motion sensitivity settings, etc. . However it was not reliable. Kept randomly not working. . Even though I enabled it to launch at boot, it did not work. After rebooting I always had to re-launch it. . Seemed to interfere with manually unlocking my screen using the finger print sensor. Half the time, the sensor just would not work. After uninstalling Gravity Screen, it is back to working much more reliably.

Like it, but it keeps vibrating my phone everytime I unlock it or go into apps that are excluded and not excluded. Wish I could turn that feature off but couldn't figure it out. It's not the OS settings because I scoured through everything and tested it. It's the app itself. I tried toggling the notification from it to 'off' but still it does not work. I'm almost at the point of uninstalling it because of how annoying it is.
