The app is slow and unresponsive, completely useless except for push notifications which themselves are often critically delayed. One time I actually lost a potential client on account of being unable to respond in a timely manner in an area with poor service, in large part due to the unresponsiveness of the app preventing me from making use of the limited connection that I had. Use the website, on mobile or desktop.

Love the platform of Wyzant and the exposure it's given me as a private tutor. The interfacing of the mobile app could use some work! I haven't been receiving notifications for messages from my students despite giving the app all necessary permissions and checking that the notifications setting is toggled many, many times. This has been an issue for months now and has been affecting my business. Hoping to find a solution soon!

I had to lower the rating to 1. They fixed the bug I complained about before but now I got an alert that my profile was hidden because I didn't reply to a request within 24 hours. The app stopped alerting me about new students and messages a couple of years ago! I checked the app settings and it's set to alert me, and it's also set to show an alert icon, but none of that happens. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling, and that doesn't work. I actually WANT NEW CLIENTS!
