I used a Garmin GPS for years of tracking and tested several dog tracking apps. I have settled on DogTracks as my favorite, especially for laying a track. It tracks total track length and individual leg lengths (if I mark the corners.) Beginning students find the app easy to use and useful. DogTracks continues running when I use camera and compass apps. All my tools are at my fingertips. I just downloaded version 3.0 and look forward to seeing its improvements.

It worked beautifully before the update. I went to the tutorial and set my phone up for the update. It's useless now. It drops the GPS even if I hold the phone away from me while laying the track. I loved it so much before.

Recurring subscription fees ad infinitum instead of a one-time purchase to access the complete functionality? Millions of companies, craftsmen and independent professionals around the globe thrive just fine by selling their products, and they have to maintain, develop and improve them, too.
