The Tawuniya Drive Application is an exclusive program for Alshamel cooperative customers, which aims to enhance traffic safety and is one of the goals of the Saudi Vision 2030. The app relies on Telematics technology that evaluates driving behavior, including acceleration, brakes, coring, acceleration and mobile phone usage, and other factors influencing driving quality, such as late-night driving and distance covered. To incentivize drivers to earn weekly rewards through Tawuniya Drive points, encouraging and rewarding safe driving practices.

What distinguishes Tawuniya Drive?
- Impact Alert Technology: Upon receipt of an alert from the sensor in the event of an accident, the client is contacted by our team to provide a range of immediate services including reporting the incident to Najm, creating a request to tow the vehicle, transport it to the agency/workshop and then deliver it to the customer's door, in addition to submitting a claim
- Weekly Rewards: CashBack, Gas vouchers, car wash, Vouchers for delivery orders and free rides
- Drive Wala: Offers and discounts on more than 500 stores (depends only on your activity in the app and not on weekly points)
- Renewal discounts: up to 20% upon renewal of Alshamel insurance policy

Ratings and reviews

Multiple Issues with this app. 1. The actual road speed is different (110 KMPH) Drive application considered speed (90 KMPH) is different and points are reduced incorrectly. 2. Big issue with data synch between actual Co-ordinates, Call Records. I have completed the voice call before the trip, however the app recorded as I was using the phone while driving. 3. The Route shown in the app is incorrect than the actual. 4. Sometimes the score doesn't get updated / Shown correctly. 5. And more.....

Nor longer stable nor predictable. Application goes extra mile and monitor speed limits, which is, obviously, traffic authority jurisdiction. The accuracy is questionable, and who knows what woukd be the next step. It's been two years of smooth operation of the app, but the recent change has ruined the great idea. Unfortunatelly tawuniya has encourage me to stop using the app.

The application is constantly active, even when you are not actively engaged in the activity and remain at home. This leads to extensive usage of your phone's resources, such as memory, battery capacity, and slowing down your device. The application design appears poorly, with limited user experience which may not provide adequate information. Furthermore, the app frequently lags and fails to accurately record journeys.
