Globesweeper is a twist on the classic minesweeper game. Use the numbers to work out all the tiles that are safe to reveal but be careful one mistake revealing a mine will cause the whole globe to detonate and you will have to start again!

With hexagon, triangle and classic square game modes, 5 different globe sizes and 4 difficulty settings you can be playing on anything from tiny hexagonal globes made of 92 tiles to colossal triangle globes with 20,480 tiles.

Play in traditional or guaranteed solvable mode where you never have to guess.

Gain achievements to unlock all 14 themes including planet Earth, the Moon, Mars, stylish gold, ruby, emerald and sapphire.

Quite fun. Anywhere from challenging to zen, depending entirely on your mood. Graphics look great and it's really fluid. There's a weird audio bug on newer versions of Android, which is a little irritating, but the reason why I took off 2 stard is no cloud sync or anything for scores/achievements- or crucially, purchases. I changed phones, so I lost the consumables I paid for, and have to go unlock everything again.

Truly a brilliant game all around, from concept to execution it's all really fantastic. Only problem I have is that I can only play in hex mode because the others make me feel disoriented when I get to the edge of the shape. It would be really great to be able to pan the camera view so I can zoom in on the corner of a cube grid and see it straight on. Other than that it's pretty much perfect.

It's very good, based on a classic game with plenty of modes and skins for lots of variety and as much challenge as you want. I set it so shovel mode only uncovers with a double tap, minimizing my own accidental touches. But sometimes the game just lags and detonates a bomb (or tries to use pay items I don't have?), even though it should not be possible for bombs to go off in flag mode. It's very frustrating. It also hurts my eyes if I look at the game too long, needs a high contrast option.
