About this game

Suguru, also known as Tectonics or Number Blocks, was invented in Japan. These puzzles have very simple instructions, but a very wide range of difficulties, from easy to insanely complex.

Suguru is a great logic puzzle with two very simple rules. The cells in each puzzle grid are divided into groups, and each group contains the numbers from 1 to N, where N is the number of cells in the group. Thus, a group containing 5 cells will contain numbers from 1 to 5. The second rule is that no two adjacent cells, including diagonal, can contain the same number. Despite these two rules, some puzzles can be incredibly difficult to solve.

Don’t be fooled by the size of the grid, and Suguru’s apparent simplicity. This is a puzzle that can, at its most difficult, challenge the most experienced of solvers. Be warned, this is an addictive puzzle like no other, and a uniquely satisfying one.

In our application, we have created 6000 unique levels with varying degrees of difficulty. If you are playing Suguru for the first time, try the level “Novice”. Each difficulty level contains 1000 unique levels. Where level 1 is easiest and 1000 is the most difficult. If you can easily solve the 1000st level of one difficulty level, try the first level of the next level of difficulty.

This game is almost perfect. It's great for times when you want to kill time and don't want to waste it on some stupid mindless clicker games. The ads in the game are completely non-intrusive and I don't think I have had to wait for an ad to play one time while playing, other than for clues. It would be nice to have an option to click a number and fill in everywhere the number is an option (note mode or pencil mode) like a lot of sudoku games have, but that is real change I could see.

Fun game, I like the seemingly unintuitive nature of solving the puzzles. I kind of wish there was an option to select the number first and fill in all available squares instead of having to select and fill in each square individually. Also, an optional timer to track how long it took to solve a puzzle would be pretty cool, but isn't entirely necessary. Highly recommended!

Quite fun and engaging in the same way sudoku is, but with an interesting new ruleset and new logical pathways to master. The app is well-constructed and there are strong design choices in the functional minimalism of the interface. I think novice players will have a lot of enjoyment, as I am finding the difficulty quite manageable even on "Advanced".
