On a hillside far from the hustle and bustle of the city, the fir trees speak, they make their friends the animals and they eat. There, somewhere up there stands a pretty fir tree, Astroy, shining at night like a star. He has his friends the trees and the rest of the forest animals, and every evening they all gather together and are happy to have fun next to each other. Until a Christmas tree pretends to be Christmas. Fir trees know people's habit of cutting them to embellish them and tremble at the idea.
Far from the mountainside, in a desolate frozen clearing, there is another lonely fir tree with a trunk like a thick log, Maistro. It is there day
and night watching frozen Astrenius rejoice with his friends on the joyous hillside. Until his jealousy blurs his thoughts and decides to hurt him. A woodcutter is then on his way and the cause is that Astrenios is in danger. But in the end, a dream and luck make the two fir trees to be loved and to become perennial friends in the chain of nature. A fairy tale that talks about friendship and respect for the environment.

Katerina Paparagougou studied in Patras and works as a teacher in recent years. He has attended creative writing seminars and believes that proper writing is a process that never stops. As a child, she always loved classical fairy tales and liked to fancy and paint them. Her profession, however, made her remember her love for fantasy stories as if she were a great one. Since then he has been writing one story after another with his heroes of trees and animals, numbers and objects they are talking about. All these things that children can see, love and dream ...
