Moodreads uses a complex algorithm to match any book up with the perfect music.

How it works:

Just type the name of any book into the search bar and BAM! You instantly get a carefully selected playlist that perfectly fits the book you're reading.

For example, a horror novel will generate a spine-chilling and suspenseful soundtrack, while a romance novel will make you swoon with a dreamy playlist.

Add in the soothing sound of rain, a timer to turn the app off in 30 or 60 minutes, and you have the perfect distraction-free way to read and listen to music in perfect harmony.

Reading will never be the same again.

You also have a book shelf where you can save a list of books you're currently reading, so you don't have to search for the same titles every time you open the app.

After a rough time getting the app to work, I was able to see what all of the other reviews are about. Yes, this is a really good thing to get if you enjoy reading. I tried several titles, successfully this time, and was impressed by the music selections. Thanks again to the developer for getting back to me about my problems and may he have good luck with this and other apps.

-My new favorite app. Runs seamlessly in the background while I work or read. -I've put in random titles to test the results & am pleasantly surprised at the variety of music offered. -For example, my search results for "nursery rhymes" played the darkly folkloric "Air Prelude" by Kevin Macleod. What a cool find! -For me, Moodreads is probably more a tool for music discovery than for actually reading with the perfect background music, though it works for both purposes.

You open the app, type the name of the book you're reading, and it automatically loads ambient music intended to accompany the genre. It isn't the same from book to book. It works very well and I look forward to seeing how the developer improves it in the future. It's great for ebook reading, though I imagine it works just as well in any scenario.
