Confusing, until it works. K3iii: must enable Bluetooth and location on phone, and also allow wifi connection and permissions. Use Bluetooth to initiate connection, and it will auto-enable wifi for communication. Phone must know updated location before it will connect. To transfer jpgs, you must have jpgs saved on the card, or RAW+jpg. RAW trasfer is slow. I suggest reducing jpg file size to S if shooting RAW+. Auto-transfer only works with jpg. Remote control and remote live view works well.

great app. the new version is a far better experience than its clunky predecessor. the UI is much cleaner and intuitive and connecting to cameras involves considerably less swearing. the only issue ive come across is it does not seem to like bulb mode on the camera when functioning as a remote. transfers could be quicker. i don't know what the limiting factor is, but it can be quite painful.

I had a few small issues at first, but it didn't take long to get things sorted and now I really like the app. First, I had some connection issues, but then I realized this was my phone dropping the connection due to no Internet access. Once I got the phone to forget about looking for the Internet and hold the connection, it was fine. Second, I tried using it and had an issue where I had the camera drive setting in continuous shooting but the app was in single shot, it gave me a strange message and would not take a picture until I figured out that both the app and camera had to be in the same drive mode. After getting these two small issues figured out, it has worked flawlessly and I really like it a lot! It does what I need it to and then some.
