Frozen apps will completely stop running in background. If you freeze a messenger app, for example, you will not receive any message, unless you manually open it.

Then you want IcyDroid, a very simple app freezer!
IcyDroid will freeze any app, making it not running in background.
Frozen apps can normally be opened and used without differences from normal usage.
But once that app is closed, it will effectively be closed and will not run anymore, until you manually run it again (it may take up to five minutes to really close the apps, depending on the system version).
IcyDroid will give you:
• Increased battery life (frozen apps cannot run whenever they want)
• Increased performance (low-end devices can gain a lot from reduced ram usage from frozen apps)
• Simple usage: check the apps to freeze and click the freeze icon. That's all!
• Freeze app on boot: frozen apps will not start when the device boots up
• Freeze both user and system apps
Normal version can freeze up to 5 apps. Donate version has no limit.

I don't know how this app works but I was searching for air forzen app and I found this. It doesn't work. I'm using air frozen app and it's working. Don't know what reason behind it. I'm using frozen app for freeze magisk app to avoid root detection (some apps still detected root) Device poco X3 Android version 11(OneOs) custom Rom

This is different from airFrozen (if I got it right): you are still able to manually start frozen apps as they were not frozen, but they are not able to run in the background anymore.
At most, if you start them manually and put them in the background, they will get killed in a couple of minutes automatically.

Not working even with root access. It show s inside IcyDroid app is not running but app is still cached and running. When I Force Stop specific app then it really stopped. icyDroid doesnt stopped it at all

Working fine with root. 5 apps are frozen with this free one, that's fine. 1 star reviews are from people who don't have root.
