About this app

Three fixes in version 1.7.6:

1) The "rock back and forth" mode checkbox was previously not saving its state properly.

2) "Rock back and forth" mode now shows the intermediate images (as it was supposed to all along) instead of just flipping between the first and last image.

3) The bug affecting people who purchased the ad-free version should now be fixed—two days ago, a coding error allowed ads to show up on the ad-free version! This should no longer be the case, but if you encounter it, please let us know, and we will definitely issue a refund!

Thank you again for your patience and support

Haven't used this app since my last review below, 3 years ago. Decided to give it another try on my new Galaxy Note 9 and it doesn't work at all. Don't waist your time trying to install it, it's worthless. Very disappointed. Widget has no image at all, just a blank screen. Widget does nothing, no update or anything unless you tap it to open app. It is nothing more than a picture of what was on screen last time u opened the app. Why is there no motion on the radar widget... all the systems are stationary unless you tap on the widget to open the app. And when you view the radar within the app the systems are moving so fast you can hardly see what they're doing. Apparently the developer has abandoned the app altogether.

Hello Ken, Thanks for the review. There is currently no motion on the widget because it would use too much battery life. I am working on a possible fix for this. If you want to slow down the radar, tap the gear icon in the app and use the animation speed slider. Regards, -Mason Bogert, Tregware

Update 07-21-19: This update adds an AD BANNER to the top of the screen. Keep the version you have, especially if it is version 1.7.7. Original review: Widget worked on my Galaxy S7, but does not work on my S9. Does display radar screen when pressed, but that's not what the widget was designed for. Developer does NOT respond to feedback. Not updated for over a year.

Now installed on anther phone; previous commentary still applies: Good app. Compact, and gives _reliable_ weather radar, which is good to have here in Tornado Alley (or in Dixie Alley)! It would be nice to have a future (predictive) loop, too, and to be able to scroll the loop back and forth with a stylus, but that might make it take up far more storage space than it does. I'm writing this at the developer's request, so this is _not_ a "dead app", as one (bogus?) review I've seen claims.
