Best app I've tried news is there without adds or searching. Not sure about reliability of news but no worse than other apps. Originally had this app but deleted it because every sportspersons name is kiwi( disrespectful) and opinions are influencers, keep to journalism.

Most of the "Breaking News" notifications never take you to the actual story. There is no option to select what news you want pop-ups for, so it's basically time wasted and irritating. I WANT to like it more, but it is hard. Videos have nothing to do with the reported story. One can never vote in any polls, because the voting buttons never show up.

Good app but what really annoys me is when the notification pops up with something I want to read about, so I tap on it to open the app and read the article but once the app opens I'm just on the main home page and the story that I was notified about is no where to be seen. Edit: So the notifications now take you to a web page instead of viewing in the app, what's the point in having an app if it directs you to a web page, other news apps actually work, might have to stick with those.
