About this app

[What is earbuds delay?]

1. The time when sound playback starts on the device (smartphone, etc.)

2. The time when the sound actually comes out of the earbuds.

The time difference between 1. and 2. is the delay of the earbuds.

YouTube or video player apps show the video as late as the delay time of the audio in order to eliminate this delay. So users feel there is no delay.
However, since this app does not perform such manipulations, you can experience the delay of your earbuds devices.

In general, devices connected wirelessly, such as Bluetooth, have a longer delay than devices connected by wire.

[How to test the delay]

When the clock hand pass 0ms(milliseconds), the device starts playing 'tick' sound. The delay is where the clock hand is located when the earbuds actually make a 'tick' sound.

I hope this app is useful to you.
Thank you.

A simple tool that if used correctly can work to your needs. Though the exact instructructions are still unclear until you see the tool screen, tap stop when you hear the tone. A helpful tip for acurate results is close your eyes, and tap away from the button building a rhythm that lands on the screen at the sound so your results are minimally impacted by any slow reflexes. A note for the developers though. Audio, like any data signal cannot come before it's been sent.

This is actually very effective! You must close your eyes and then tap, it will give you clear idea about the latency. Very important to test out different TWS earbuds, and high end earbuds with Ultra Low Latency feature and see if it's really effective.

Easy, plain, simple: test the audio latency of a digital sound device. (Note to creator: you mention in the description that bluetooth devices tend to have more latency than other types. But analog speakers and headphones have NO latency at all, as dictated by laws of nature! Electricity in wires travels with near-light speed).
