The Age Builder series, even just playing free, is very fun and a challenge that won't leave you angry but may stump you. You get to worry about quality of life, project goals, and more. I recommend trying Greece then China then Egypt to see more of the game expand out as the developers find new features. These features may be simple but they're still very fun in a semi-casual way

Not a bad game. I bought China, Egypt, and Greece, but only have had issues with this one. Sometimes when I try to upgrade a shack to an abode, the house will disappear as if I destroyed it, but the game will continue to count the house as existing. If I close and reopen, the house is gone and the cost isn't refunded. It's a little annoying, but not a deal breaker.

There are 3 of these games, (so far) and I recommend them all. Fun and relaxing city builders with an historical flair, these games are a great value for the modest memory requirements. I enjoy the architecture in this game, the traditional Chinese buildings are both exotic and artistic to my western eyes. Will definitely buy the full version(s).
