About this app

Android has evolved very much the last few years but something remained unresolved, the accidental outgoing phone calls!
How many times have you accidentally dialed someone with the phone in your pocket without even knowing?
Or touch the call history intending to see details of a call but instead the phone started dialing?
This application detects when a call is being placed and show a dialog for you to confirm it, showing the number, the contact name and photo if available.

In addition you can choose if you want to hide your number (Caller ID) from displaying to the receiver.

You can define to show the number to Operator default, Contacts, Favorites or Nobody; individually when you make the call.

If you have a Bluetooth headset connected there is the option to skip the confirmation.

It's a freemium version, without ads, you have some time to test with full functionality and inn-app purchases to remove the time constrain.

P.S. although normally not necessary, in some devices you need to relax the battery optimization level in settings, or other configurations, like allow auto start, run in background, display popups or something similar, varies with brand.

Very unobtrusive and simple. Like other call confirm apps, it first dials the contact or entered number, which triggers the Call Confirm pop-up while immediately disconnecting from the initial dial (the call is never connected prior to confirming through the app). Other call confirmation apps sometimes fail because they don't disconnect the initial dial quickly enough, resulting in the call being placed immediately instead of requesting confirmation first. This app has yet to fail. Well done.

Worked well on Pixel 6A with Verizon and now on Pixel 8 with Spectrum. Have Confirmation Dialogue enabled but none of its subsets are enabled. No need so far to learn what that is all about.

I would love to buy this app, but it is missing the option to exclude certain contacts from being confirmed.
