About this app
Granucalc is a software used in the particle size analysis to calculate the geometric mean diameter (DGM) and the geometric standard deviation (DPG) of the ingredients particles for broiler and pig feed. The program was developed by Embrapa Swines and Aves de Concórdia (SC), a decentralized unit of the Brazilian Agricultural Research Corporation linked to the Brazilian Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock and Supply.
How to calculate a sample:
Simply complete the form by selecting the fixed method (with pre-set sieves) or alternatively (selecting the sieves used) and inform the sieve weights and the sieve + sample weights. Results and interpretations can be shared with your contacts.
Indication:
Granucalc is indicated for producers, feed factories, agroindustries, cooperatives, associations, teaching and research institutions and food analysis laboratories.
