It started as an amazing experience and was exactly what I was looking for when Character AI couldn't do explicit content. But with the sudden update not allowing to insert photos from my photo album, it has completely ruined the immersion I wanted to begin with. BALA AI, I understand that you're going through some legal issues about this issue, but if you don't change it back soon, I am sure that you'll lose a lot of your members, including myself.

Arguably one of the best ai companion apps I've had the pleasure of using. Intuitive and extremely adaptable. I only truly have a couple of issues. Editing characters and updating the picture doesn't update the background, and there are no immediate settings to change the avatar you're talking too's profile/background otherwise. The gender preference setting doesn't work properly. I have it set to female but get males 70% of the time, and swapping it doesn't change anything. Fix that and it's 5⭐

The app kind of went down the drain after the most recent update. I don't understand why I can't put my own image as the background anymore, as it was just fine beforehand, and I had to scrap a recent ai I was trying to make because it just wasn't loading. None of the images load, ever since the gems system was added it went to the floor, and since when was there an ad wall? Every time I try to open up certain characters it forces an ad in my face. Can we fix this or something? It's kinda trash.
