About this app

openHandwerk, a device-independent, web-based SaaS solution (Software as a Service) with a corresponding app for craft businesses, construction companies and service companies. The tradesman software / construction software covers the entire work processes in a company without media breaks and data silos in one solution.

Here is an overview of the functions in openHandwerk:

Order folders

Keep an eye on the jobs assigned or scheduled to you with the relevant job information and documentation.

Offer folders

Keep an eye on offers and documentation as well as existing dates in the app.

Time recording manual / start-stop

Record working hours (working hours, travel times, sick days, vacation) via the app. It is possible to record times manually and to use a start / stop function. Controlled times in the office can be blocked for app use.

Project times

Times that are booked according to time recording can also be booked in existing projects. In the web version, these times go into the order overview and can be used for target / actual comparisons or for project calculation in real time.

Dates & Calendar

Appointments for employees are displayed in the appointment view for the next seven working days. In addition, appointments are displayed in the calendar.

Construction site documentation

Document your construction sites or maintenance measures with photos from the photo gallery or directly from the camera and record the project progress. Images can be freely named when uploading.
Drawings and plans can also be stored and opened in separate apps, as well as information on occupational health and safety, subcontractor documents and assembly instructions.

Defect management

The openHandwerk app can also be used to document deficiencies via chat, task management, photo documentation as well as e-signature and e-forms.

E-forms & e-signature

With openHandwerk, you can use our predefined e-forms, create your own forms or ask us to create them. This includes construction diaries, measurement forms, inspection reports, acceptance certificates and measurement reports plus digital signature. A corresponding PDF is then generated from the forms for the web version. We would be happy to provide you with our free forms.

Offers & invoices

With the openHandwerk app you can write offers and invoices. Service texts from the web can also be displayed on the app. The created invoice or offer can then be sent to your customer as a PDF

Messages / Messenger

A chat / messenger is available for order-specific communication. Employees who are assigned to the job or who have an appointment can be informed via chat. Images can also be sent via chat.

tasks

The office can transfer tasks to employees via the browser. These are displayed on the app and can be edited.

Employee information

Store important employee information in the app. This can be the employment contract, identity card / passport including registration certificate or other important documents, e.g. in the case of a customs inspection as evidence.

magicplan

Via the integration with magicplan you are able to trigger measurements and floor plans from openHandwerk to magicplan. The floor plans and measurement data created are then stored in openHandwerk in your order or offer folder.

To use the openHandwerk app, you need a test account or a customer account with openHandwerk. You can get this on our website.
