I really enjoyed this game, but at some point they decided that ads between levels, a persistent ad at the bottom, and ads for power-ups weren't enough. I've started getting interrupted by mid-level ads. The gameplay is simply interrupted and an ad just starts playing. Because of that, 1-star, and I won't be reinstalling. There are plenty of clones of this that won't interrupt the game to show you an ad.

Used to like playing this to kill time... not anymore. The game has changed quite a bit. It has now gotten to the point that for many levels, tou have to watch several ads, sometimes 4, 5, 6, etc. Just to get the "power ups" to beat the one level. On top of that, there's about a 50% chance that the ad you watched doesn't actually grant the reward and give you the power up, so... more ads. There's a feature to upgrade your towers, but with what you get, you can't keep up with enemy towers.

This is just a remake of the first game, they seemed to have stopped updating the first game in order to work on this one. There are new power ups, but you will never need them because after level 50 you have accumulated enough gold to upgrade your towers. A standard tower can outproduce an attack tower. It becomes so easy and the levels just seem to repeat over and over. Good time waster, play this game in airplane mode to avoid watching ads after every level.
