"Treasures near Krakow" is a mobile guide the attractions around Krakow four municipalities: Chernihiv, Mogilany, Skawina and Świątniki Upper. The most beautiful churches, mansions, museums, nature reserves and other interesting places of the region were described just as "treasures", often remain in the shadow of Royal City, and yet worth mining and admire. Their tour was offered in twelve key thematic routes. Individual trails dictate where we find the greatest attractions of religious, natural or otherwise, such as the most beautiful vantage points. For those who prefer an active way of spending time, it proposes a thirty-bike trails, hiking and horse riding.

General information on municipalities and their main towns are located in the "About the region." "Must-tourist" places collects data useful during the tour, such as pharmacies, ATMs and tourist information points, and in addition presents selected accommodation facilities, catering and sports facilities. The tabs "Offer" and "Calendar", users can see what interesting events will take place in the near future within municipalities.

The application uses GPS technology, showing the position of the user, the location of objects and the course routes. Audio module allows you to listen to stories about specific locations. In view of the large numbers of foreign tourists visiting Małopolska project was created in up to four languages: Polish, English, German and French.
The application works in offline mode, using only an Internet connection to download the latest data. Along with the website was created as part of the project Fri.
