When you go out and can not find anyone to help you take pictures, or take a group picture without excluding the person who takes it. This application can help you solve this problem. This application is originally a part of the Bluetooth Remote Toy. I extracted functionalities of the remote camera/shutter independently from that app and enhanced user interface to make users easy to use it.

Warning
This app is used to take a quick remote shot or video recording with your friends or family. Do not use in other applications, for example, as rear view camera in your car because bluetooth video streaming is very slow and cannot give you an immediate preview. It is your responsibility to avoid such use.

Ratings and reviews

I want to do some casual photography, but it's hard to be in the right spot in the frame by just guessing. I also don't want people to constantly go out of their way to help me. This app allows me to use my old S5 as a remote shutter and preview screen while I have my S7 as the camera on a tripod. I am able to position myself as I see fit before taking a picture. Although this app has decent features, it has much potential for improvement.

After update to v2.0.1 it works between my three devices, which run Android versions 8, 13, and 14. Nice! EARLIER REVIEW: Really useful app! Perfect use for your old smart phone thanks to support for early android versions (and no SIM needed), or for two people turisting together. Once two phones are paired on bluetooth, it's really quick to use at any time.

I tried it for a few minutes & it looks like a near perfect app. What I would suggest is to also have an option to make the app act like a simple Bluetooth Shutter so that we can use the Default Camera App in our phones with all the modes (Portrait, Night etc). Hardware Remote Shutter buttons do that function. I would much prefer the phone's default camera app rather than the one present in this program (even if thay means I may not get live preview). Thanks.
