In a time of book bans, cultural erasure, and monuments that still glorify oppression, Kinfolk offers a different kind of education — rooted in truth, powered by the people.

Kinfolk is a platform for collective memory, built with and for our communities that have too often been excluded from the narrative. We use augmented reality technology, monuments, and storytelling to make history visible and alive, layered into the very spaces we inhabit.

Very cool and easy to use. Certainly would have enjoyed utilizing Kinfolk when I was younger to learn in a much more engaging way than most students are used to. It opens a fascinating new realm of pedagogical possibilities. Imagine taking your class of students on a field trip and being able to have each and every student focus on and manipulate their own lessons with their own hands as you add additional tidbits! Awesome app 👌

I am sure the app is amazing, however, I am not fortunate enough to experience any of it. I tried launched it twice on my Android Motorola G73 and both attempts crashed my phone spectacularly (green and blue horizontal stripes cover the entire screen, whole system all functions disabled, unable to do anything other than force shut down / I had to use the pin to push the sim card out so it actually shut down. Maybe my phone spec is too low for this immersive experience.

Awesome app! You can set statues and monuments AR style in your house or wherever. Great info on people we never learned about in school, but who are very important in our history. Amazing being able to walk around and see these up close!
