Ratings and reviews

In a perfect world, the AFL should have an app that can be downloaded straight from a smart TV (I have a Hisense Google TV). The very fact that I have to download the app to my phone and then stream it to my TV is Super dumb. Why not simply have the app be compatible with the TV in the first place? So I download this app hoping to test it out before committing, nope! I'm precluded from testing it out on any content through watch AFL because they don't offer any free content. Unreal!

Been using this app for 4 years now and it's never been updated. No new features or capabilities.It still hangs when casting to a TV and there is no compatible Android TV version, so I've got to watch matches on a tiny laptop screen or my phone...in 2023! My 55 year old eyes can't handle the tiny screen any more. There's a reason I have a huge TV; but it's a shame I can't watch footy on it. Might be my last year paying for this. Update: 2023 was the last year I subscribed. Bye.

Pretty poor. Been paying for a WatchAFL subscription for many years and this is the worst experience. Streaming a game where I live (Dubai) will have a 50/50 chance of success. The game might start. Might not. Or it plays for a while and then the app shuts down. When I return to the game, it offers to restart from when in left off, but always just starts from the beginning of the match again. Downloads only work if you stay in the app. Locking the screen or changing apps stops the download.
