The energy consumption of our digital life contributes significantly to climate change. CO₂ free is the first app * that actively improves your carbon footprint by making your mobile phone and soon your entire digital lifestyle almost carbon neutral.
How it works?
1. Recognize.
Our app scans the files, photos and videos on your smartphone and shows you at a glance how much greenhouse gas they cause.
2. Reduce.
Much of the data on your smartphone is out of date or superfluous - e.g. because the perfect selfie often does not succeed on the first try. Our app suggests such photos and videos for you; you can delete them with just one swipe.
3. Compensate
With the app, you can instruct us to shut down CO₂ certificates in order to compensate for your remaining footprint. You also receive climate protection plus, as the app consumes less energy than we compensate for each download.
